i have been honoured in being nominated to model for a 50's inspire freakshow shoot. im pretty damn excited i must say. im the bearded lady, been thinking of heaps of ways i can wear my hair, how i will make a beard and a monobrow. lighting and the set up. cannot wait.

anyways. i went back there and i took some more shots. and i really forgot what i had taken. so while i was scanning i said to myself "DAMNN! THATS SO GOOD HEATHER! *pat on back*"

i was expecting this to be color medium format film. but it turns out it was black and white, and in the processing i was soo confused. but i got there in the end.

so this is my mother. i asked her to pose while the sun was fresh and hasn't hit the top yet. i like how the sun is covering and not covering her face, and how her top is almost unseen because it's almost the same texture as the background.

120....

the other day i show off some 120 film, that was given to me from my uncle. i thought it was color shooting it and then at the end i realised that it was black and white. i shat myself because i was expecting to have color. then i got over it. while i was processing the film, im like "hope this is black and white." pored out the presoak and teal comes out. i was expecting purple. i asked the tec guy about the film, and i processed it as if it were being cross processed. turns out it was black and white.

these arent the photos, but are part of a piece i am working on. the boys are my sweds david and christian. i need to scan the other two boys.

my friend and i went to see anberlin at billboards. its was awesome. i love that type of music because you can just be a spaz and rock out the beating of the drums. my favourite part was when the key boardist/drummer smacked the guitarist bum <3

on 23.02 spent most of my day in a studio, i was assisting for my friend. it was awesome. i helped set up, we chatted with the makeup artist model and other assistant, picked out rockin out fits for the model and came up with ideas and concepts. it was the first time i actually enjoyed studio work besides being in a class.

its inspired me so much in what i want to get out of my studio sessions. its also inspired me to go out and start assisting her with other shoots as well as assisting other photographers.

im wanting to do a topless shoot with the boy(s) wearing a mask. i already have the girl setteled, but because all the guys i know either arent down with it, or arent the shape i want, i need your internet help.

when i photograph people i tend to crack jokes, but i want this to be very serious.

since being out of uni i've taken heaps of photos. getting ready to go through all of them and printing/editing them. i cannot wait. but because im bored and since doing a "stop motion" fail, ive been taking photos of my arm/sholder. i really like them. i think its more of the lighting than the actual image im enjoying. here they are

where everything started....

these photos were taken the first time i went back home, with my analogue camera. my dad bought me film and we went to the old bridge and took some snaps. this is where my interest in photography started, in the same place that i was started.
