scanning prints..instead of negs

scanning negs is a big waste of time. and sometimes at school they are occupied so today i settled in the darkroom even though i wanted to bash some heads in, and i did 5 prints. and guess what...i didnt even see the teachers about it *gasp*. i spoke to my main man gabbey and told him that im going to follow his advise and go to what i feel is right.

ive also decided that this is going to be my life : 80% photography 15% family and friends, and 5% work.

i draw nakkie ladies....

had to draw nakkie ladies at tafe. when i first found out that we had to do so i wasnt too thrilled about it but then i started not to care. i liked it because it helped me shadows and such for a shoot that im wanting to do. im not the best drawer but this is my favourite image out of all of them i drew.

scans..

today i scanned some negs on the new scanner. had to have the tec guy chrisopher to help me because i didn't know it has a certain neg tray to be scanned in. these negs were from different rolls of film that i liked.

i really like these images because the night i took these images was the night of my birthday dinner with my friends and family. i had to finish the roll because i needed my film camera for the night.

these were part of an assignment where i had to take portraits of a person using different filters. i told her to pull funny faces. one of the second years came in and saw what we were doing and said "oh just like passports." and it made me think that i might do some portraits in a passport style but with funny faces, because now a day you are not to do certain things.

color negs

these photos were taking waaaayyyy before i even knew anything about photography and had to work my camera, so i'm not too sure if the color of the negs are from the scanning part or the shutter/ fstop ect. these photos remind me of where i started from and where i am now.

Had text and image assignment to do. I had no clue what i wanted to do for it. My uncle gave me

a graflex medium format camera and so the name is written on the camera and so i took a photo of that for my assignment. end of story. i used a flash f stop 5.6 iso 200 shutter speed 60th.

leaving...

i hate when the most unexpected things come up and they or it or something in your life leaves. i dislike the feeling of ever having to start over fresh, and then it just goes away.
